This hit home for me, Adriel. Just an hour ago I read in my devotional about the importance of writing, now you are sharing about your journey with writing. And in one hour I will have a coaching conversation about how to get unstuck and grow with my business… these last few weeks have been frustrating as household and paperwork have been my “feels like a waste” activities. I now feel encouraged that nothing is wrong with my process. I will keep the creative work in my focus but console with the unattractive work at hand.
To be honest I wrote this last week and just yesterday I had one of those “everything is a waste!” days. And not in a good way. It felt ridiculous re-reading my own email to send it out today. That to say, the struggle is REAL. Sometimes the waste truly is part of the process. Other times it’s resistance and we need to prioritize our creative work and push through. Other times it’s just life and we have to roll with it and try again tomorrow. 😅 In any case, I’m glad you’re experiencing this synchronicity and paying attention to it. Sounds like the process of getting unstuck is already beginning. Godspeed! x
